About TechBigs

TechBigs is a catalogue of modded Android games and apps. Its job is simple to state: help you find a MOD that does what it says, and put the facts about the file in front of you before you download it.

The catalogue leans towards games — action, racing, RPG, strategy, casual — but tools, photo and video editors and music apps are here too. Each page names the unlocked features rather than hiding behind a vague "MOD version" label.

Android lets people install software from outside the official store, and that choice is worth keeping. TechBigs exists to make it a little less of a gamble.

Every listing starts from the APK file. The package name, version, file size and minimum Android version are read from the file itself, not copied from another site.

Those values are then matched against the app's Google Play listing. If a file claims to be a version that does not line up with the original, it is held back rather than published on a guess.

When the original app ships an update, the page is refreshed so that the version you see is the version you get. Older builds stay available in the version history on each page.

For every file we compare the package name, version and size with what the developer declares on Google Play, and we show Google Play's own Data safety disclosure — the permissions requested and the data collected — with a link to the source and the date we fetched it.

What we do not do: run antivirus scans, or install each build on a physical phone to try it. Nobody can promise that modified software is completely safe, so keep Play Protect switched on and read its warning before you install anything from outside the store.

If an app asks for permissions that make no sense for what it does — a flashlight wanting your contacts, say — that is worth knowing before you install it. That is why the disclosure sits right on the page.

Files are served from our own storage through a content delivery network, so the download comes from a location near you instead of one distant server.

Each download link is generated for your visit, and the page states the file size and the Android version needed before you start. Files are never handed off to third-party file lockers.

Previous versions are kept. If a new release drops support for your phone, or you simply preferred the old one, the version history on each page still lets you download it.

TechBigs is an index, not the author of the files. The APKs come from third-party developers and modding groups; what we add is the checking and the context. Rights holders can use the DMCA page at any time, and we act on what we receive.

Modified software comes with trade-offs, and we would rather state them plainly than hide them behind a badge.
