Mod Review
This build suits people who want weather widgets and city selection on an Android 6.0 or later device. It is more relevant if blank widgets or delayed widget updates were a problem in earlier builds. Skip it if collection of crash logs, diagnostics, and other app performance data is a concern. The 44.3 MB file also needs enough free storage before installation.
The MOD in practice
This build is labeled Full Version. That is the only MOD detail attached to this build. Weather widgets, city selection, and the version 1.2.0 widget fixes remain the product functions relevant to using it. Compare the build version with the current Google Play release before relying on the update fixes.
What works
- Weather widgets give you a way to keep local forecast information available outside the main app screen.
- City selection lets you choose which location the app uses for its weather widget information.
- Version 1.2.0 fixes blank weather widgets, which matters when a widget previously displayed no forecast content.
- The same update improves widget refreshes, helping the selected city and widget behavior work more consistently.
What to watch
- The app collects crash logs, diagnostics, and other app performance data according to its Google Play data safety details.
- You need Android 6.0 or later to install this 44.3 MB build.
- The widget fixes depend on this build matching the release that includes version 1.2.0 changes.
Our take
