A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep TechBigs free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What is Download manager used for?

Download manager helps you control file downloads on your phone and manage files after they finish. It can handle documents, videos, and applications downloaded from the internet, while showing which transfers are active or complete.

What does the Premium Unlocked MOD change?

This build is labelled Premium Unlocked. The label identifies the MOD for this version, while the app continues to provide download tracking, simultaneous downloads, search, date sorting, dark mode, and download resuming.

Can Download manager resume an interrupted download?

Yes. When a network interruption stops a download, Download manager can continue the transfer after the connection is restored. You do not need to restart that download from the beginning.

How can I find a file I downloaded with Download manager?

You can use the search feature to look through downloaded files. The app also arranges downloads by date, which lets you find a file based on when it was downloaded.

What Android version is required for Download manager?

Download manager requires Android 8.0 or later to install. Version 18.0.2 also adds compatibility with Android 17, along with browser and interface improvements.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
