Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What is iTest used for?
iTest is a hardware testing tool for checking a mobile device, particularly before buying it used. It can show an overall hardware status and let you test individual components. The results appear on screen in a list.
What does the Full Version MOD change?
This build is labelled Full Version. iTest still includes hardware overview tests, manual checks, Semi-Auto Mode, and VoLTE compatibility checking.
Can iTest test individual phone components?
Yes. You can choose a specific part that concerns you and start a manual test from the available component list. Semi-Auto Mode can also run a requested test and show its result when finished.
Can iTest import battery health data?
Version 1.4.0 adds support for importing health data from iTest Battery. That release also improves light sensor sensitivity and makes UI improvements for Android 15 and later. The listed build version is 1.2.0.
What Android version is required to install iTest?
iTest requires Android 6.0 or later to install. Android may show a prompt about allowing installation from this source; whether to allow it is your choice. Android 6.0 is the minimum installation requirement, not a performance guarantee.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
