A tab with an advert may open when you tap download. Close it and come back here to carry on — those clicks are what keep TechBigs free.

Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What is Moviebase used for?

Moviebase tracks movies and TV series that you are watching. It saves viewing progress, supports custom lists, and recommends movies based on preferences and positive reviews.

What does the Premium Unlocked MOD change in Moviebase?

This build is labeled Premium Unlocked. Moviebase still centers on movie and TV tracking, watch lists, recommendations, and saved viewing progress.

Can Moviebase filter titles by streaming service and share lists?

Moviebase can filter movies and shows by streaming services. You can share a title, rating, or watched mark as a card, and turn an entire list into a poster-grid image.

What changed in Moviebase version 7.6.0?

Version 7.6.0 adds title-card sharing, poster-grid list images, streaming-service filters, library long-press actions, and per-list poster sizes. It also adds IMDb ratings on episode pages, title links, calmer notifications, improved profile cards, and more reliable device syncing.

What Android version does Moviebase require?

Moviebase requires Android 8.0 or later to install. This is the minimum Android version listed for the app.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
