Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What does Muviz Edge do?
Muviz Edge creates animated screen and edge lighting that follows the rhythm of music. It also provides always-on display backgrounds, visualizer effects, and tools for changing their appearance.
What does Premium Unlocked change in this build?
This build is labeled Premium Unlocked. The app still includes its music visualizer, always-on display screens, design packs, and color palette controls.
Which music apps work with Muviz Edge?
Muviz Edge works with Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music. Its visualizations move with the music playing through supported music apps.
Can I customize the always-on display in Muviz Edge?
Yes. You can choose AOD backgrounds by theme, season, or mood, and use the built-in editor to make designs with your own images. The app can also keep its visualizer active on the standby screen when the display is off.
What Android version is needed to install Muviz Edge?
Muviz Edge requires Android 9.0 or later to install. When installing a file from outside Google Play, Android shows a prompt about allowing installs from that source, and the choice remains yours.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
