Before you install
- When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
- An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
What does RS File Manager do?
RS File Manager is a file manager for organizing files on your device and supported cloud storage. You can find, copy, move, rename, and delete files, then compress, decompress, or encrypt them when needed.
What does the Premium Unlocked MOD change?
This build is labeled Premium Unlocked.
Which cloud services can RS File Manager manage?
RS File Manager connects with Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and other cloud services. It lets you access and manage cloud files similarly to local files, including copying, moving, deleting, and renaming them.
How can RS File Manager search for a file?
You can search by name or content when you do not remember the exact file name. Filters include format, size, creation date, and modification date, which can narrow the results.
What Android version is needed to install RS File Manager?
This build requires Android 7.0 or later to install. When you tap the downloaded file, Android displays its installer prompt and may ask whether to allow installation from that source; the choice is yours.
Nothing happens when I tap download
Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.
Android says "App not installed"
Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
