Before you install

  1. When Android refuses the install, it is the unknown-sources guard doing it. Grant this app permission in Settings, then confirm the install when the prompt comes back.
  2. An "incompatible version" message usually means the build was compiled for the older ARMv7 processors that recent phones no longer accept. Look for the ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

Download FAQs

What does Weather Radar by WeatherBug do?

Weather Radar by WeatherBug lets you check rainfall and weather conditions through detailed map layers, including radar and storm-risk views. It also tracks lightning and hurricanes, then sends weather alerts for selected locations. Rain and snow reports can help you plan travel.

What does the Premium Unlocked MOD change?

This build is labeled Premium Unlocked. The label identifies the MOD type for this version. Its listed weather functions include maps, lightning tracking, hurricane tracking, and weather alerts.

How do the hurricane and lightning tools work?

Can Weather Radar by WeatherBug alert me for more than one location?

Yes. The app supports notifications for multiple locations and focuses alerts on the area where you live. It can send rain or snow reports every 15 minutes when needed, along with severe-weather and storm-change alerts.

What Android version is needed to install Weather Radar by WeatherBug?

Weather Radar by WeatherBug requires Android 9.0 or later to install. The file size is 81.0 MB. When installing from outside Google Play, Android may show a prompt about allowing installs from that source; the choice remains yours.

Nothing happens when I tap download

Refresh the page and start again — each link is signed for one visit and stops working after that. If it keeps failing, the file is probably being swapped for a newer build; give it a few minutes.

Android says "App not installed"

Usually there is already a copy of the same app on the phone, signed by someone else. Remove that copy first, then install this file — and back up anything you care about inside the app beforehand, because uninstalling wipes it.
